Henrik Bader has a degree in Business Administration from the Technical University Bergakademie Freiberg/Germany and a degree in International Management (‘Study Abroad’ Program) from Macquarie University in Sydney/Australia.

In the past 20 years since graduating, he has gained extensive and highly specialised experience in various specialist and management positions in procurement and supply chain management. He has held various positions, including Supply Chain Manager, Supply Operations Manager, Transport Shift Manager, Supply Chain Project Manager and Supply Leader, for well-known companies such as Grünenthal, Novartis Pharma, Pepsico Beverages, Wincanton, BioNTech, Cheplapharm and the Swiss Red Cross.

For example, as Global Procurement Consultant for Grünenthal, Henrik Bader managed various Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Quotation (RFQ) processes for various outsourcing projects, and as Supply Chain & Network Design Consultant, he advised the Global Network Design Team on how to reduce project backlogs and make or buy analyses. For example, as Supply & Order Manager for Novartis Pharma, he managed the integration of products into the Novartis portfolio and the delivery of over 500 products from production sites in North and South America, Europe and Asia to local Novartis country organisations worldwide.

His specialised knowledge includes a wide range of additional qualifications. He is, among other things, a certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) from PMI and a certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) from APICS.
