Raimar Geffken studied Business Administration and Economics at the Georg-August-University of Göttingen/Germany and graduated with a degree in Business Administration (Diplom-Kaufmann).

After graduating, he developed from a Coach/Trainer, Finance Manager in Sales and Sales Manager to a Head of Sales in the field of communications technology with responsibility for business development in the Middle East and Asia for SIEMENS AG. He then became Regional Sales Manager with responsibility for business development in the Middle East and South Asia for OSRAM GmbH. During his subsequent career at OSRAM, he rose from Head of Technical Marketing and Sales to become Head of Subsidiaries in Egypt and Jordan as well as Managing Director for the Middle East.

After 10 years, Raimar Geffken founded a trading, engineering and project management company in Indonesia based on his professional experience – particularly in connection with SIEMENS and OSRAM – and his knowledge of the APAC region. With this company, he became a Sales Partner and Project Realiser in the Asia and Pacific region for brands such as Ledvance/OSRAM, Bene and Fantoni. His achievements include winning the Top 100 Asia Award for Innovation and Technology (Red Herring).

In addition to his management qualifications, Raimar Geffken is also a certified expert in lighting design (German Institute for Applied Lighting Technology) and a certified WELL Accredited Professional (International WELL Building Institute, USA). Both certifications reflect his interest in and skills in the field of technology and human well-being.

For more than 20 years, Raimar Geffken has been living and working in different countries around the world. This has given him a deep understanding of cultural differences and their influence on business processes. He also has extensive international experience in identifying suitable new employees and developing existing employees for new and challenging tasks. In combination with his international knowledge in the areas of marketing, sales, legal frameworks for entering new markets, etc., he is therefore an excellent Consultant in international Business Development, Project Management, Supply Chain Management and Global Trade.

Raimar Geffken lives in two worlds – Europe and Asia – and has learnt to think and act successfully in both of them. This has had a positive influence on him and made him a very open and result-oriented person who also thinks unconventionally from time to time.

He speaks fluent Bahasa Indonesia, English and German.
